Michael Darragh MacAuley and American football star
American football star Chris Draft and Dublin GAA hero Michael Darragh MacAuley join forces to help highlight the Irish Cancer Society’s lung cancer awareness month, which takes place throughout January.
More than 2,500 people in Ireland are diagnosed with lung cancer each year, and both sportsmen know what it’s like to lose a loved one to the disease.
Chris Draft’s wife Keasha was just 38 when she died of lung cancer in December 2011 and all-Ireland winning footballer Michael Darragh MacAuley lost his mother Rosaleen to lung cancer when he was just 12.
