Nashville, TN. Team Draft was in attendance at today’s St. Thomas Health and Tennessee Titans Lung Cancer Awareness game at LP Field. Six survivors from the Nashville area were recognized during the 4th quarter of the Titans vs Jaguars game. The survivors wore light blue shirts that proclaimed NO Lung Cancer! Team Draft’s goals are to create a unique experience for participating survivors and to raise awareness on a local, national, and international level by using each game and each survivor’s story to weave a broader narrative about the state of cancer and the hope that now exists for those battling the disease. November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. In 2012, Team Draft marked the occasion by launching our inaugural Survivor at Every Stadium initiative on CNN during a nationally-televised prime time special focusing on lung cancer and our National Campaign to Change the Face of Lung Cancer. Special thanks to the St. Thomas Health and the Tennessee Titans making this experience possible. Special thanks to the St. Thomas Health and the Tennessee Titans making this experience possible.
