Minnesota Vikings Training Camp

Mankato, MN.  Team Draft is leading lung cancer survivor Linda Wortman and her husband, Jerry Wortman, on a tour of the Minnesota Vikings Training Camp.  While there, Linda and Jerry will have the opportunity to meet last year’s NFL MVP Adrian Peterson among other veterans and rookies training for the upcoming season.

Linda, a retired Flight Attendant, is a 5 year lung cancer survivor, diagnosed with Stage 1a non-small cell adenocarcinoma at the Mayo Clinic.  Linda, who was a very active and athletic woman, was shocked to hear the news and underwent surgery to remove the upper left lobe of her lung.  She has been cancer free since.  She credits her husband, Jerry, for helping her get through the diagnosis, surgery and recovery.
