Emory University School of Medicine Student Presentation Featuring Chris Draft and Abby Wilson

Team Draft Co-Founder, Chris Draft and Survivor, Abby Wilson, along with Abby’s mother, Tina, will sit down with Dr. Louis Rapkin of Emory University School of Medicine to discuss diagnosis, symptoms, treatment plans and options from a patient’s point of view.

This group discussion will help further the studies of a new generation of Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Researchers and Primary Care Physicians. Approximately 150 medical students will be in attendance and will be able to hear first-hand accounts of the journey through Lung Cancer from diagnosis to treatment from a 15 year old lung cancer survivor. The connection and empathy shown through a doctor/ patient relationship is one of the keys to a positive outcome in any cancer treatment program.
